Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 29, 2026

LineReady is operated by Tyson Lee Woodruff, a sole proprietor doing business as “LineReady” (“LineReady,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including our SMS text-message program for appointment confirmations. We take your privacy seriously and, in particular, we never sell or share your mobile opt-in information. The details are below.

1. Information we collect

When you call a business that uses LineReady's AI receptionist, we may collect:

  • Your name — as you provide it during the call.
  • Your mobile phone number — the number you are calling from or one you give us.
  • Appointment details — the service you requested and the date/time booked.
  • Call audio and transcripts — see the call-recording disclosure below.

We collect this information verbally, during your phone call with our AI receptionist. We do not run web trackers to build advertising profiles of you.

2. How we use SMS text messages

If you agree during the call, we use your mobile number to send transactional appointment confirmations and reminders for the service you booked — for example, “LineReady: your appointment with [business] is confirmed for [date/time].” We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Message frequency is limited to messages about your booking.

3. Consent & opt-in

Our SMS program uses a verbal opt-in. During your phone call, our AI receptionist asks whether it is okay for LineReady to text you a confirmation, and you must give an explicit “yes” before any text is sent. If you do not agree, we do not text you. Your consent is for LineReady messages only and is never transferred to any other sender.

4. We do not sell or share your mobile information

Mobile information will not be shared with, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The above categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We may share mobile information only with service providers and subcontractors who help us operate the SMS program, under strict confidentiality, and only to deliver these messages. Personal information will not be sold, rented, released, or traded except where legally required.

In plain terms: we never share or sell your phone number. The only parties that ever touch it are the messaging providers we use to actually deliver your confirmation text (such as our telecom carrier), and only for that purpose. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety and rights of others.

5. Opt-out — Reply STOP

You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After you reply STOP, we will send you one confirmation message and then no further texts. You may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, or END. To start receiving messages again, you can opt in again on a future call.

6. Help & contact — Reply HELP

For help with text messages, reply HELP to any message, or contact us directly:

7. Message disclaimers

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Call recording & AI disclosure

Calls to a LineReady AI receptionist may be recorded and transcribed so we can book your appointment, improve accuracy, and maintain a record of your request. You are speaking with an automated AI assistant, not a live person. Call audio and transcripts are used to operate and improve the receptionist service and are handled with the same no-sell/no-share commitment described above. If you prefer not to be recorded, you may end the call and contact the business directly.

9. Data retention & security

We keep the information above only as long as needed to provide the service (booking your appointment, sending confirmations, and keeping reasonable business records), and we apply reasonable safeguards to protect it. Opt-out requests are honored permanently until you choose to opt back in.

10. Children's privacy

LineReady is intended for use by businesses and their adult customers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
